Sustainable Narratives and Green Storytelling
So called „Green Storytelling" is an approach within Media Creation that focuses on integrating climate change, biodiversity, environmental protection themes and sustainability practices into the narratives. We believe in the power of stories to evoke emotions and initiate change in the world.
Not only can media be produced in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way, but it is also possible to use “Green Storytelling” to tell certain narratives with concrete values and opportunities for action, thereby giving people hope and showing the way to new positive worlds of a nearer future. The media professionals take in a major role model function through the stories we tell.
Green Storytelling can be divided into three main components: Pragmatic Green Storytelling, which are Sustainable Screenplay Decisions. Implicit Green Storytelling, about Character Behavior & Visual Imagery. And last but not least Explicit Green Storytelling, the Thematic Integration. For more details please check our the green storytelling checklist here: https://filmbuero-nds.de/service/news/green-storytelling.html
