Sustainability in the Media is increasing and a real game changer. Some countries even made it mandatory and it helps and works in many ways.
Still there was the urgent need for a living Institute in order to join forces, train, experiment, promote and research on an international level.
So here we are: welcome to a new era, welcome to the INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINABILITY IN MEDIA AND EDUCATION.
All our members and colleagues are working in and for Sustainability since many years. We have gathered expertise both in creating National Standards, Sustainability Management Systems, CO2-Calculators, Curriculums for Universities, Technical Standards, Trainings for all the different departments as well as developing communication strategies and new approaches to scriptwriting and formating.
Philip Gassmann, our Head of Studies has developed sustainability trainings for producers, production managers, directors, DOP´s, gaffers, set designers, set construction and more since 2010. Since then, he trained several thousand professionals in the Media Industry all over the world and all over the different departments.
We aim to proove that Sustainability is a powerful, creative approach and most of all a booster and problem solver in many areas. That´s why we are approaching this topic on many levels: systemic, legal, financial, technical, psychological and in every creative area of the Medias.
Our aim is to give you the best tools and help you find your way.
